Learn how to quilt with a block of the month club and open sew Sundays.
Every other month starting in January we’ll put together a block for a block of the month. Use scrap material from the library or bring your own fabric. Upcoming block of the months are in September, Block 5 and November, the final block, Block 6. No commitment necessary, no prior experience or attendance to other block of the month days required. For the Block of the Month club, if you’d like to work with your own background then you’ll need 2.5 yards of fabric for the full quilt.
Every other month starting in February, quilting sessions is an open sew day for you to come and work on your projects, prep your block of the month quilt, or learn new skills and techniques. Open sew in October will also include a short lesson on borders, sashing and sewing your blocks into a quilt, for those who are interested.
Scrap fabric, sewing machines and other equipment is provided. Feel free to bring your own sewing machine and tools if you prefer.
